Sony's digital video game refund policy has yet again come under scrutiny after angry No Man's Sky players have not been able to get a refund for the game.

A number of players that have bought No Man's Sky are looking to get a refund for the game for a variety of reasons ranging from motion sickness, crashes, and feeling as if the game differs from the one they expected it would be.

The refund policy says that digital content purchases can be cancelled within 14 days provided that it has not started downloading or streaming. "Unless the content is faulty", then, it seems like there isn't much players who have already downloaded the game can do.

Valve's refund policy (who sell the PC version of the game on Steam) gives players a refund in the same time frame if the title has been played for less than two hours.

People have also claimed that they have been told they will never be allowed to play the game again if they were given a refund which has also upset fans who see the practice as "underhanded".
