Guillermo del Toro on Twitter: "F*ck Konami"

Movie director fires both barrels at the Metal Gear Solid publisher.

Fresh off the back of the new trailer for Death Stranding at The Game Awards this week, movie director and friend of Hideo Kojima, Guillermo del Toro, has been rather vocal with his criticism of Konami.

The posts, which landed on Twitter, started off by him congratulating his friend, before he (in bold text and with the caps lock on no less) wrote "FUCK KONAMI" and then followed it up by saying: "Konami cancelling SH after PT is one of the most moronic things I've ever witnessed."

Kojima and del Toro were set to make Silent Hills after the huge reaction to the demo for P.T., but after the publisher's relationship with the Metal Gear Solid creator went sour, the project was cancelled.

Kojima is now working independently on Death Stranding, more of which was shown last night. Check out the trailer below and you might just see a familiar face or two...
