The highly anticipated action game Nioh, which has been developed by Team Ninja and published by Sony and Koei Tecmo only for PS4, has gone gold, and thus you can now read our final impressions and expect it to be on time for its launch in three weeks' time.

Same as with so many other AAA titles these days, the devs have gone now from polishing the main game to developing the planned additional content that they'll be releasing in the following months to keep interest on the game (and business) alive. And even though players already knew they would be able to buy and download several DLC packs, be it one by one or via season pass, it seems that the team was also holding a nice surprise that was just unveiled.

"We plan to offer a free Player vs. Player mode in the near future after the launch of Nioh", unveils Yosuke Hayashi, game director, speaking to Gamereactor Spain. "We also already offer a season pass available for preorder on PlayStation Store. We will offer three major DLC which will also launch in the near future after the launch of the game."

"The community is already appreciating this promise, and players are now trying to picture how the already tempting experience could change/grow when Nioh faces them versus in a completely free PvP mode."

Nioh: Bloodshed's End

REVIEW. Written by Markus Hirsilä

"Gathering and tuning loot to your liking is still one of the main attractions in Nioh. Considering how difficult Bloodshed's End is, it's also mandatory."
