The Switch is almost here, and whereas raw power has never been the primary focus of the console, it seems the final system is a lot more powerful than initial reports suggested.
Apparently, according to several developers, the system has a "boost mode," which gives them significantly more power to work with, as much as 25%.
Digital Foundry has completed some tests with this, and their reading suggests that while the original clock speed was 307.3MHz, the boost modes has approved it to 384MHz.
It's important to point out that this is in handheld mode, so it seems the console has more power to give than we all initially thought. Is this information something that could dramatically sway your decision to get the Switch?
