You can find Pikachus with festive hats in Pokémon Go

You have until March 6 to catch one.

A post on the Pokémon Go website has announced that to celebrate Pokémon Day (which is today), Niantic Labs is teaming up with The Pokémon Company International and putting special Pikachus in the game. How are they special, we hear you ask? Well, they have festive party hats, making them even cuter.

These Pikachus were placed into the game yesterday, and will be there until March 6 at 13:00 PST (21:00 GMT). If you happen to catch one, you'll be pleased to know that they keep their hats forever, but they can only be found for this limited time, so be sure to get out and find one.

The post also said that Niantic want to see how users are celebrating Pokémon Day, and that they should use the game's AR Camera to take a picture of these Pikachus before sharing them using the hashtag #PokemonDay.
