Red Dead Redemption 2 delayed until spring 2018

Rockstar has announced the decision to delay the highly anticipated Red Dead Redemption 2 from its original release window this fall to an undisclosed date in the spring of 2018.
"We are very sorry for any disappointment this delay causes, but we are firm believers in delivering a game only when it is ready. We are really excited to bring you more details about the game this summer."
There was a bit of compensation in the shape of the new screenshots you can look at below. Whether that makes up for the six extra months of waiting or not is up to you to decide.
