Scorpio "will be the best version of console games this year"

Last month we found out the technical specifications for Microsoft's upcoming enhanced Xbox One, Project Scorpio, along with a series of images showing the graphical improvements from the One to the Scorpio. Then, yesterday, we reported that the Scorpio won't be held back by the Xbox One's limitations.

Today, Phil Spencer, Head of Xbox, has increased anticipation for the console even further by saying in a tweet that he is "very confident Scorpio will be the very best console version of games this year."

The answer came in regards to a question about Destiny 2 and Call of Duty, after one Twitter user asked whether they would look better on Scorpio, in turn prompting Spencer's response. Good news for Xbox fans, then, especially those who like bragging rights when it comes to this sort of thing.
