Capture the Rooster comes to Overwatch's arcade mode

But it won't be leaving there any time soon.

As you may or may not know, Overwatch's Year of the Rooster event has started, introducing all sorts into the game such as skins and a new brawl called Capture the Rooster, which is, of course, a variant of capture the flag.

Here's how Blizzard describes it: "No event would be complete without a first-class brawl, and for the Year of the Rooster we took a cue from tradition and are introducing an Overwatch take on a true competitive gaming staple: Capture the Flag. In Capture the Rooster, teams will face off on Lijiang Tower, attempting to secure the enemy flag while the opposing team does the same. In this fast-paced brawl, players will need to get creative with their team compositions as they attempt to construct a lineup that's built for offensive speed and defensive stability."

In a developer update Jeff Kaplan discusses how difficult it has been trying to work a capture the flag mode in Overwatch, in no small part due to character abilities, and these issues mean that it's getting confined to arcade mode for the time being, Kaplan said.

Is this a game mode you'd like to see incorporated into esports, though? Or are there just too many issues with abilities and other things?
