The first Capcom game coming to Nintendo Switch is Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers, yet another version of the classic fighting game that comes with a new mode designed to take advantage of the Joy-Con sensors. Capcom showcased this new addition with an off-screen video and some screenshots along new images of the game's character editor.
In Way of the Hado you play as Ryu fighting against the Shandaloo army in first person. But not with kicks and combos, just with you special abilities executed by moving your arms: Hadoken, Shoruyken and Tatsumaki-senpū-kyaku. There is a main "Stage Mode" with three levels of difficulty, an endless mode and also a training mode.
Capcom says that there is a lot of replayability since you'll upgrade Ryu with "Growth Points", which can be used to strengthen his Attack, Speed, Guts, Defense, Luck, and Vitality stats.
Also new to the Nintendo Switch version is the "Color Edit" feature that let the player choose the colour of the fighters' clothes and skin. Want Ryu to look like Hulk? You're perfectly able to do that.
Finally, Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers let the player browse through over 1,400 selected illustrations from SF20: The Art of Street Fighter.
