The trailer below is a teaser for Menaphos: The Golden City, the first of several expansions for Jagex's long-running MMORPG RuneScape. The developer and publisher just announced this will kick off a series of releases (literally, "towering pieces of new content") on June 5, with the subsequent updates coming out every three months. RuneScape's expansions consist of new areas to explore in the world of Gielinor and the company underlines they will be free for those who subscribe to the online game already.
Including rewards, festivities, and a year-long quest-chain.
It's the 28th skill in total for the 19-year-old MMO, and this one will raise the level cap for all players with new places to explore too.
It was a successful year for Jagex across the board, including Old School RuneScape and the mobile version.
Anachronia brings dinosaurs, new activities, and plenty more into the RPG in time for summer.
