Sony and Team Ninja are ready to release the latest DLC for Nioh, called 'Dragon of the North,' which is set to launch next Tuesday, May 2, and will offer more story missions and a free PvP update. Sony has now released the official description of the new plot of the PS4 exclusive too, which reads as follows:

"This new chapter follows William's departure from Japan, just as Governor Masamune Date ("the one-eyed dragon") begins to secretly gather spiritual stones to store power and sow chaos. Mr. Masamune Date, Governor of the feudal domain of Sendai in the Keicho Age (circa 1600) is a recognised historical figure, famous for being an intelligent, ruthless man and an exceptional leader. He was an impulsive and arrogant man who thought himself the most, but at the same time he was a faithful devotee of his land and his subjects. This duality in his personality makes him to be a memorable character and, above all, a formidable adversary for William in this new installment."

Of course this additional content includes new scenarios in the Oshu region, new enemies, additional weapons, armour, skills and so on, and new screenshots have also been provided for us to feast our eyes on too. How is it looking for you?

Nioh: Bloodshed's End

REVIEW. Written by Markus Hirsilä

"Gathering and tuning loot to your liking is still one of the main attractions in Nioh. Considering how difficult Bloodshed's End is, it's also mandatory."
