After many years in development and another unexpected delay, Cuphead was one of the worrying absences at E3 2017. This 2D platformer simulating cartoons from the 1930s is finally coming to Xbox One and PC in late September, but over at the Games Radar forums one keen user enquired as to whether other platforms may be getting the game, and whether it was exclusive to PC and Xbox.

"Yes, this Cuphead game is exclusive to Xbox and PC (with Steam and Win10 versions at launch and a GoG release likely shortly after)", reads the answer, with Teeth clarifying that "we own the Cuphead IP", but there seems to be an agreement with Microsoft. Luckily, however, this doesn't affect PC, since "there will likely be a Mac version down the road and possibly a Linux version beyond that (unless we lose our houses or whatever)."

So unfortunately it looks like Switch and PS4 owners won't get to experience the joy of Cuphead in September. Is this a big blow?
