Sega Europe has confirmed that both The Creative Assembly's Total War: Warhammer II and Sonic Forces will be playable on the show floor in Cologne during Gamescom.

Both games can be found in the Koch Media booth (Hall 9) where there will be 20 PS4 kiosks equipped with Sonic Forces where you can sample three stages starring Modern Sonic, Classic Sonic, and the all-new player-created hero character. Meanwhile, Total War: Warhammer II will be featured on 37 PCs where you can pick between two quest battles - Skaven vs Lizardmen and Skaven vs Dark Elves - thus featuring three of the four playable races included in the game.

Gamescom kicks off next week on Tuesday, August 22nd with a trade and VIP day, followed by four days that are open to the general public. You'll catch all the coverage from the biggest gaming show in the world (in terms of attendance) here on Gamereactor.

Sonic Forces

REVIEW. Written by Sam Bishop

"Sonic Forces doesn't come close to restoring Sonic's reputation in the third dimension, and perhaps suffers even more with it coming mere months after Sonic Mania did such a good job."
