Sonic Forces has a Japanese release date

There's no news on a European release though.

Sonic Forces will be hoping to follow Sonic Mania's success when it comes around, except this time we'll be controlling the blue hedgehog in the 3D space as opposed to a retro 2D platformer. When is it coming, though? Well, Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu (via Nintendo Everything) has announced that Sonic Forces will debut on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox One on November 9 in Japan.

At the moment, however, the publisher hasn't yet confirmed the European launch date, so we'll have to be patient and wait for that to come. Stay tuned to Gamereactor, though, because we'll let you know when we do, but you can always check out our preview in the meantime. Are you as excited for this as you were for Sonic Mania?
