Sonic Forces' launch date and special edition revealed

Sonic fans are still pinching themselves after realising that Sonic Mania is a great game, but it's time to remind them that there's another Sonic game on the way as well, and now we know when the blue hedgehog is up for another run.

Sega has announced that Sonic Forces is set to launch on November 7, while also revealing a special "Bonus Edition" for the game. This edition includes a special controller skin and 13 skins for your player-created character. Five of these skins are based on existing Sega and Atlus characters, so you'll get the chance to see if Sonic actually is the fastest. These five skins are Beat from Jet Set Radio, The Protagonist / Joker from Persona 5, Puyo from the Puyo Puyo series, Nights from the Nights games, and AiAi from Super Monkey Ball.
