Super Mario Odyssey

Super Mario Odyssey is a rather tiny download

Good news if you're running out of storage space for your Switch. According to Nintendo's Japanese store, it will only take a measly 5.7 gigabytes of space to download Super Mario Odyssey when it arrives on October 27. This is about the same size as the save file (only the save file!) for the Switch version of NBA 2K18, according to Destructoid.

While this might sound remarkable, it is worth pointing out that it is still over three times as much data as Super Mario 3D World and about twice as much as Splatoon 2. Nintendo sure knows how to optimise their games, hopefully, others can follow this example.
