The staff at Ubisoft Milan are now a happy bunch, as the studio's latest game was Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, which has become the most successful non-Nintendo product on the Switch so far. This position is well deserved, and we here at Gamereactor have also enjoyed the game too (as evident in our review).

As reported by GamesIndustry.biz, general manager Dario Migliavacca said: "We are now reaching eight to ten times more applications than in the past. This is really, really promising. We have a growth plan in our minds... I see a really brilliant future in front of us."

Creative director Davide Soliani added that "Mario + Rabbids was a game changer for Ubisoft Milan." Ubisoft Milan has a 19-year history, so this is a big deal, and it seems as if Mario + Rabbids has been one of the highlights for the studio.
