Last week, Bungie said that we wouldn't just see the launch of the first Iron Banner event in Destiny 2 today, but also a more challenging version of the Leviathan raid. Those plans have changed, however.

The developer has decided to delay the prestige raid because it has been noticed that players have found exploits that "that causes the encounters to be stripped of their intended challenge". We can now expect to take on the more challenging version next Tuesday, October 18, so at least we don't have to wait too long.

Bungie feels that this is the right solution, as they don't want the team that earns the World First status to have its "legacy tarnished by doubt, scepticism, or uncertainty".

How do you feel about this decision?

"It's actually an improvement over the last expansion despite the fact that they feel quite similar."
