The popularity of Fortnite's Battle Royale mode is dwarfed only by that of the game that inspired it, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds. The difference is that Epic's cheeky add-on to Fortnite is free-to-play, so the barrier to entry is much, much lower than it is for PUBG. This certainly explains why so many people are taking a closer look at the free mode, with the game's latest milestone seeing it hit an impressive 10 million players.
With all that in mind, we decided to take a closer look at the new mode and see what it has to offer. You can read more about our impressions of Battle Royale (and the new paid-for Horde Bash update) by hitting this link, but before you do that, check out the two-hour livestream below to see the game in action.
