When Halo: The Master Chief Collection launched, it was supposed to a celebration of all things Halo, a large dose of fan service bundling some of the best shooters ever made. But it didn't exactly go as planned and the release was anything but smooth sailing. The collection turned out to be a bug ridden mess that barely worked at all in multiplayer and a lot of online features had been removed. With patching 343 Industries tried to ease the pain.
Now the collection is largely forgotten, but as it turns out, 343 Industries still hasn't given up on it. Rather it's the opposite as it was announced on an official Halo livestream that the game will be updated next year and get Xbox One X support. The official Halo Twitter writes: "As announced today, work is underway on updates, fixes and Xbox One X enhancements for Halo: The Master Chief Collection - coming in 2018."
Are you willing to give Halo: The Master Chief Collection (includes Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo 4 in remaster/remake versions) another chance after the update next year, or have you moved on to other things?
