If you want a deeper challenge in Tango Gameworks' The Evil Within 2, you might want to try the first-person mode hidden in the code of the PC version of the game, initiated by just typing a short command in the right place on the console.
To do this, activate the console in your Steam library in the usual way ("Properties --> Set launch options"), then write '+com_allowconsole 1' without the quotation marks in the box and insert. Once this is done, you can add valid commands to the game. In this case, just type 'pl_FPS 1', again without quotation marks, and it should be done. PC Gamer says that some players are having problems with this, but adds that some are getting round this by typing 'toggle' or 'idStudio' first to activate cheat mode.
You can see the game's first-person mode in this video uploaded by YouTuber SkacikPL. Is this something you'll be giving a go?
