Announced this week was the return of Team Rocket in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, now known as Team Rainbow Rocket.

Team Rainbow Rocket are the culmination of all the villainous team leaders from every generation of Pokémon, including Lysandre from Team Flare, and Ghetsis from Team Plasma. Fans of the original Pokémon games will be more than familiar with Team Rocket, with them being the villains of the original Game Boy Pokémon titles Red and Blue 20 years ago.

The Ultra Wormholes return with a twist, too. Going through the Ultra Wormholes will now let players encounter version specific legendary Pokémon, where they can battle against and capture them to complete their Pokédex.

Not only this, but the brand-new Battle Agency has been revealed, where players rent powerful Pokémon to battle opponents in single battles. The aim is to be the best agent there is, whilst earning gold caps along the way. Players can increase the pool of rental Pokémon by connecting with other players locally or over the internet.

Collecting the new Totem Stickers will give players the chance to obtain their very own totem-like Pokémon, which differ mainly in size.

Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon have also been confirmed to have the QR Scanner from the original Sun and Moon titles, used primarily for the island scan, which has had previously unobtainable Pokémon added to its list.

Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon launches this November 17th.
