Those of you looking for new challenges in Assassin's Creed Origins will be pleased to hear that Ubisoft has just announced something called Trials of the Gods, where high-level players get to face bigger and more badass enemies than ever before in the adventure, these enemies being gods themselves.

These events will run for a week each, and the first you get to face is Anubis, the Egyptian God of the afterlife. In the game, Anubis is considered to be an Animus glitch, which explains his presence, and his position should be marked on your map.

November 14 is the last day to try your luck against this massive enemy, which you can get a glimpse of in the trailer below, but don't worry, as you'll always have another shot to take on a god if you miss one.

Is Anubis a good god to start off with?
