Licensing aside, the PES gameplay experience has been widely praised after its two latest releases, both 2017 and the recent Pro Evolution Soccer 2018. Now, while Konami works behind the scenes on increasing the number of licensed and partner clubs, the PES Team will try to push the game experience forward, building on the last three years of development.

Assistant producer Kei Masuda already teased at the Camp Nou presentation last summer that PES 2018 was not only "the biggest change to PES since its debut on PS4 and Xbox One", but also "the foundation for the future". In this regard, global brand manager Adam Bhatti (watch him describe the game in the interview below) has just announced he'll now be part of Masuda's PES Team in Japan.

The manager, who's used to gathering feedback from thousands of fans in the West, will be now "working with the amazing PES team much more closely, with huge improvements planned over the next few years", as confirmed over on his Twitter.

How do you think Western feedback can shape PES in the future? What would you ask the game to include or fix first and foremost among the planned "huge improvements"? Let us know in the comments below.
