You can now try a free trial of Destiny 2

Destiny 2 has been out for a while now, but if you have yet to get into the game there's good news, as Bungie has announced that they are offering a free Destiny 2 trial on PC, PS4, and Xbox One starting today, with a brand new trailer to go with the announcement as well.

In the trial you can explore both the European Dead Zone on earth as well as Titan, compete in the Crucible via quickplay, and ascend to level 7. Sure, there aren't all campaign missions included, but this is a lot of content for a trial, and should give you a fair idea about whether you want to invest or not.

Bungie will no doubt be hoping that this alleviates some of the tension brought about by the recent criticism of the game's XP system, and maybe get some new players on board who have yet to play. Are you one of those people?
