With the open beta of Monster Hunter: World just around the corner, announced just a few days ago and scheduled for this Friday, December 22, Capcom has officially kicked off the preload for the client on the PlayStation Store.
Compared to the first beta testing, open only to PlayStation Plus subscribers, now all players can try the new game with this demo, starting at 16:00 GMT on Friday, running until the same time on December 26. If you've already joined the previous test phase and haven't deleted the client and your data, you don't need to make a new download, because the content is the same.
Players will be able to tackle three missions on two different maps as part of the beta, these being:
Easy: Hunt the Gran Jagras in the Ancient Forest
Normal: Hunt Barroth in the Wild Spiers
Difficult: Hunt Anjanath in the Ancient Forest
Monster Hunter: World is expected on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 26, coming to PC at a later date. If you want to hear what we have to say, you'll be pleased to hear we've already played the beta and you can read our impressions over here.
Will you play Monster Hunter: World's beta this Christmas?
